Why So Many Chinese Students Study In U.S.
Have you ever planned to study abroad? Have you ever dreamed of studying in America ‘s campus? Do you want to experience different environment and culture? Ten years ago, It just a dream for most Chinese , but now, it ‘s very common for many Chinese students to study in America. Besides, students who want to come to US is increasing rapidly. Some statistics also show the America has become the country that has most international students. Why so many Chinese students have come to US? There are three causes that lead to it: The US Education is excellent, Chinese students have desire to learn new knowledge and the serious competition in china.
First of all, America has many benefits that many countries don’t have. No matter the education and culture, America has absolute advantage in the world. According to the reports, there are more than 5000 universities in US, and many resources were supported from the state and country. Besides, most Chinese students can get enough scholarship from American universities, so it appeals to more and more students who want to apply US universities. Most important, the developed economy make the US be more attractive. Students can open their eyes and mind when they face the advanced and modern technology. Furthermore,there are more excellent opportunities for Chinese students who want to have internship during the university and get satisfied jobs after graduation.
Secondly, America is a good place to learn the new things. Comparing China to America, there is a big difference. Different culture, food, and language,which is a good chance to learn for Chinese students, sure, the culture shock is a hard challenge. Students should live on their own, and they have to cook the dinner, clean room and wash clothes by themselves. But it’s a improvement for them, the ability and experience from it can help them to achieve their goals, and they will become be independent and responsible, which could have a positive effect on their whole life. Most important, they can open their horizon and mind in an unfamiliar environment, which help them to pursue and organize their life.
Thirdly, the increasing competition including employment and education forces students choose a way to study abroad. The expectation from parents couldn't come true in china because the limited resources and huge population. Many Chinese students will focus on foreign universities, which they hope to get a successful education there. Besides, the serious employment lead them to improve their comprehensive abilities, including a second language, a nice degree, and sufficient experience. They desire to get better jobs and opportunities which drive them to study abroad and learn more.
In conclusion, Excellent education in America, the desire to know external world, and the serious competition from China lead to the Chinese students came to U.S. Absolutely, it ‘s not a simple experience which needs them make efforts to get used to. Besides, many challenges are waiting for them and it’s a way filled difficulties. But, “ NO PAINS, NO GAINS” , when they get through these and graduate successfully, they will realize that the road they chose is right and beneficial.

I like it, but I would use a higher contrast text for this, like white because black on red is tough to see. But overall this looks awesome. I loved seeing all our level 3 guys in that picture in your video. :-)
